From ₹1 lakh a month on one marketplace to ₹6 to 8 lakh a month in four months
An Indian kurta maker had excellent quality and no brand that anyone knew. We gave it three labels for three kinds of buyer, placed it on every channel that matters, opened export and retail, and turned a supplier into a brand.

Quality that matched the leading brands, and a name nobody knew.
The kurtas were as good as those of brands charging twice the price. Buyers, however, saw a product rather than a brand, and almost every sale came through one marketplace.
One channel, carrying about ₹1 lakh a month in sales, all of it through Myntra.
No brand recognition. The quality was excellent, but there was no name that customers asked for.
One range for everyone, with the same positioning offered to premium buyers and to price-conscious buyers alike.
No direct sales, and no store of its own either online or offline.
No trade or export channel, despite products that suit international buyers.
What we did.

Advise
Set the direction
- Split the range into three labels, premium, mid-range and value, each with its own price band and its own buyer.
- New collections planned by season and by generation, from young buyers through to their parents.
- A business-to-business export model for buyers in European countries.
- A retail plan, covering company-owned stores in malls and a franchise model.
Build
Provide the tools
- A Shopify store, so that customers buy directly from the brand.
- Listings on every major commerce marketplace, together with Zepto and Blinkit for quick delivery.
- A brand identity for each label, carried across packaging, listings and store.
Grow
Bring in customers
- Marketing for all three labels, across the marketplaces, the brand store and social media.
- Growing orders on the brand’s own website.
- Export outreach to European buyers, which added 23% in revenue.
- Two company-owned mall stores opened, in Mumbai and in Delhi.
Same quality, three price points, three times the buyers.

Rather than one range attempting to please everyone, we built three labels: a premium label for the mall store and for gifting, a mid-range label for the marketplaces, and a value label for quick commerce and first-time buyers. Each has its own price and its own audience, and together they reach buyers the brand had never reached before.
